AAAAI Partners with ArborMetrix to Deliver Comprehensive Registry

ANN ARBOR, MICH./JAN. 23, 2018 The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology has selected ArborMetrix as its technology and analytics partner to deliver a clinically-rich and customized clinical data registry. AAAAI is preparing itself and the specialty for the future by arming itself with actionable data and giving its community of providers the tools they need to initiate quality improvement and make meaningful advances to patient care.

The new AAAAI registry is more than MIPS. It will help ensure a vital future for the specialty, and it is a key component to many strategic priorities for the society in the years ahead. AAAAI’s vision is for the registry to bring together four important objectives ‚Äì quality improvement, clinical research, patient-reported outcomes, and regulatory reporting ‚Äì all onto one platform.

The registry will support quality improvement initiatives and clinical research, and will help AAAAI and its membership demonstrate the efficacy, safety, and positive outcomes of provider preparation and administration of allergen immunotherapy. Members will have year-round access to benchmarks and performance summaries, as well as interactive reports with clinically-rich, patient-level details.

Providers will also use the registry to meet CMS requirements under the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). The AAAAI registry is approved as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) for 2018 MIPS reporting.

The road to advancing care and improving outcomes involves so much more than regulatory reporting, said Spencer Heaton, M.D., M.B.A., Chief Medical Officer, ArborMetrix. ArborMetrix and AAAAI are creating a comprehensive and multi-purpose solution that will allow AAAAI members to engage with their outcomes data and specialty-specific performance measures in a way they haven‚Äôt before. It will support the society’s and specialty‚Äôs strategic priorities and needs well into the future.

The new registry will launch spring 2018.
